Dr. Para is certified by the American Board of Surgery.  He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and obtained his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine. 

His Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency  was performed at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, Carl T. Hayden VAMC and the Phoenix Indian Medical Center.  Dr. Para further performed additional residency training at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown Pennsylvania.
